With an array of new features, exciting things are happening for Denon DJ & Numark users with Engine DJ. The new Engine update offers DJs freedom like they’ve never had before, from interactive touch FX to creating your own unique Smartlist.

• Allows users to customize up to 3 different view layouts for quick and efficient access.

• Users can now add or remove their song library from performance views, tailoring their workspace to their needs.
• Redesigned Search Bar
• Enhances functionality by enabling easy switching between searching the current playlist and the entire library.
• Expandable Track List
• Provides a full song waveform overview directly in Library view, improving track management.
• Additional Player Views
• Introduces new Media Player view options including 1 Deck, 2 Decks Grouped, and 2 Decks Stacked for versatile performance setups.
• Deck Swap
• On Media Players (SC5000/M and SC6000/M), waveform positions can now be swapped for more intuitive control.

TOUCH FX

Use the touchscreen to control and interact with FX in a whole new way. Swipe in any direction to instantly create build-ups, drops, and transitions. Touch FX options include Filter Echo, Filter Reverb, Filter Roll, LFO Echo,  Filter Dub Echo, Filter Gate, Noise Gate, Flanger, LFO Filter, and Filter.

SAMPLER UPDATES

Sampler audio can be routed to any available channel or the Main output and can now be accessed by double-pressing the Roll pad mode button.

NEW MAIN FX

Over 25 new and enhanced dynamic FX options for Denon DJ hardware including Echo Out, Swell Verb, Hold Echo, Recycler, Stutter Out, Riser, Pitch Down, Scale Down, Reverb, LFO Verb, Reverb Drop, Reverse Reverb, Reverb Rise, Flanger (-), Beat Break, Backspin, Brake, and Roll. 

SMARTLISTS

Automatically organize songs from all connected drives into playlists based on the criteria or rules that you specify. To create a Smartlist, click the Smartlist icon on the Collection folder or right-click on an existing Playlist and select ‘Create Smartlist’. You can easily turn a Smartlist into a regular playlist by right-clicking the Smartlist and choosing ‘Convert to Playlist’. This creates a Playlist with the same name & content as the Smartlist.
