Novation Launchkey 37 MK4 is a powerful DAW controller keyboard with a suite of onboard creation tools. Every element has been designed to feel musical, expressive and razor focused on creative flow; from high quality keybeds and 16 pads with polyphonic aftertouch, to the carefully laid out control surface with in-depth DAW integration.

Play instruments and drums, launch clips and scenes, and get instant hands-on control of your DAW’s mixer, devices and effects. Launchkey also has a unique, editable Arpeggiator, three Chord Modes to quickly create musical progressions, a Scale Mode that keeps you in the right key, and a Chord Detector that shows what chord is currently being played on the OLED display. All models come with a suite of software including pro-grade virtual instruments, content, and Ableton Live 12 Lite.

You can also connect Launchkey to your iPhone or iPad to control mobile music apps; or control synths and hardware only in a DAW-less set-up using the MIDI Out port.

As of 26th Feb 2025 Native Instruments NKS is now supported and you also get Komplete Select software for FREE to get you started. Native Instruments NKS (Native Kontrol Standard) is a framework developed by Native Instruments to enhance integration between software instruments/effects and their hardware controllers. It provides a standardized interface that allows compatible plugins—both from Native Instruments and third-party developers—to display parameters in a consistent, user-friendly format.

An exclusive collaboration with Klevgrand, this new virtual instrument features 80+ expertly designed presets sampled from classic Novation, Sequential, and Oberheim synthesisers. Explore basses, leads, pads, drum kits, and more — all seamlessly integrated with Launchkey’s controls for an immediate, instrument-like workflow.
 
This exclusive plugin has been designed from the ground up with Launchkey MK4 hardware in mind, with seamless integration between the two helping users to step away from the screen and stay in the flow. Launchkey’s eight encoders are pre-mapped to the most important controls for each sound; colour-coded drum pads can be used to play percussive presets and toggle four included Pad FX; and the encoder bank’s up and down buttons enable rapid switching between presets.
