High-performance 10-inch woofer

At the heart of the Sub10 PRO is a high-excursion 10-inch woofer designed for low distortion and controlled bass reproduction. The fibre-reinforced paper cone, rubber surround and carefully engineered magnet system allow considerable excursion while maintaining control, helping the subwoofer achieve a frequency response extending down to 21Hz at -6dB.

Powerful Class D amplification

The 10-inch woofer is driven by an efficient 200W RMS Class D amplifier, delivering up to 325W peak power. DSP-managed limiting works alongside the amplifier to protect the driver and electronics while allowing the system to deliver powerful low-frequency output across a wide range of monitoring levels.

Advanced DSP and bass management

The Sub10 PRO provides extensive control over its integration with your studio monitors. Selectable 70Hz, 85Hz, 100Hz and 115Hz crossover frequencies are combined with detailed phase adjustment, level control and delay, giving you the tools required to properly align the subwoofer with your main monitors and listening position.

ADAM Control network integration

Connect the Sub10 PRO to your network via Ethernet and use ADAM Control to remotely manage and calibrate your monitoring system. The software allows you to control compatible ADAM Audio monitors and subwoofers, adjust EQ, level and delay settings in real time, and manage firmware updates from your computer.

Sonarworks SoundID Reference integration

The Sub10 PRO's onboard DSP can host calibration filters created using Sonarworks SoundID Reference. This makes it possible to calibrate compatible stereo and multichannel monitoring systems for your room, with the resulting correction running directly from the subwoofer's integrated DSP platform.

Ready for stereo and immersive audio

Three operating modes make the Sub10 PRO suitable for a range of professional monitoring applications. Stereo mode provides conventional operation for 2.1 systems, while dedicated LFE mode uses a 120Hz cutoff for immersive workflows such as Dolby Atmos. Wide mode allows the subwoofer to operate full range when bass management is being handled elsewhere in the signal chain.

Professional analogue and digital connectivity

The Sub10 PRO features two balanced XLR/TRS combination inputs and two balanced XLR outputs for integration with professional studio equipment. AES3 digital input and output are also provided, carrying two channels of digital audio at up to 24-bit/96kHz.

Footswitch bass management bypass

A dedicated footswitch connection allows bass management to be bypassed during a session. This provides a convenient way to compare your mix with and without the subwoofer and check how the low-frequency content translates between different monitoring configurations.

FEA-optimised bass port

The front-firing bass reflex port has been developed using Finite Element Analysis to optimise airflow through the enclosure. Its carefully calculated curvature, flare and length help reduce turbulence and unwanted port noise while supporting high sound pressure levels.

Robust studio construction

The Sub10 PRO uses a thick, vibration-resistant MDF cabinet with additional internal bracing to help reduce unwanted resonance. A strong steel grille protects the 10-inch woofer, making the subwoofer well suited to professional studio environments and placement underneath studio desks.
