The Akai Professional MPC One G2 is a next-generation standalone music production centre designed for beatmakers, producers, and performers who want the legendary MPC workflow in a compact desktop format. Inspired by the iconic blue colourways of the classic MPC1000 and MPC4000, MPC One G2 combines modern standalone production power, hands-on sampling control, and advanced sequencing tools without requiring a computer.

MPC One G2 allows you to create, arrange, sample, sequence, and finish full tracks entirely in standalone mode. Powered by the latest MPC3 operating system, it introduces a modern track-based workflow and Linear Arranger for more DAW-style song construction while retaining the fast, tactile MPC workflow producers rely on. 

Next-generation G2 processing power

At the heart of MPC One G2 is a new G2 eight-core processor delivering four times the performance of the previous generation. This increased power allows for larger standalone sessions, faster loading times, more advanced plugin usage, and expanded audio track support without slowing down creative workflows. 

Legendary MPC pads and hands-on control

The MPC One G2 features 16 velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB MPC pads designed for expressive finger drumming, sample chopping, live performance, and fast beat creation. Combined with dedicated function buttons, touch-sensitive Q-Link controls, and a responsive 7-inch touchscreen display, the workflow remains fast, immediate, and performance-focused. 

Expanded standalone production capabilities

MPC One G2 supports up to 16 stereo audio tracks alongside up to 32 plugin instruments, giving producers significantly more scope for complete standalone song production. The upgraded factory sound library and bundled instrument plugins provide a wide range of sounds and creative tools straight out of the box. 

Modern studio connectivity

Designed for both standalone and hybrid workflows, MPC One G2 features USB-C connectivity with 24x24 audio streaming and expanded MIDI support over a single cable. Producers can also sample directly from phones, tablets, and external devices via USB-C, while Ableton Live Control Mode and Ableton project import/export make integration with computer-based setups seamless. 

Flexible connectivity and wireless integration

MPC One G2 includes balanced TRS inputs and outputs, MIDI I/O, CV/Gate outputs for modular gear, USB connectivity, SD card storage expansion, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support. This makes it suitable for modern standalone studios, hybrid hardware rigs, and live performance environments.
