Arturia MiniFreak 49 Hybrid Synthesizer
The Arturia MiniFreak 49 is a 6-voice polyphonic hybrid synthesizer built for sound design, performance and studio production. Expanding the MiniFreak format with 49 full-size semi-weighted keys, velocity and mono aftertouch, it gives players more room for chords, melodic lines and expressive two-handed playing.
At its core are two digital sound engines with over 30 oscillator modes, covering virtual analog, FM, wavetable, granular, sample-based and physical modelling synthesis. Each voice runs through its own analog filter and VCA, giving the MiniFreak 49 a flexible sound engine that can move from familiar synth tones to more experimental textures.
The XYZ touch matrix adds a more hands-on way to shape and perform sounds, combining real-time modulation, preset browsing, visual feedback and Freak Control in one responsive surface. Filter FM, Voice Panning, custom LFO shapes, 3 digital FX slots and deep modulation options make it a strong choice for producers who want a creative hardware synthesizer that encourages experimentation.
For sequencing and performance, the MiniFreak 49 includes a 64-step sequencer with 4 lanes of automated modulation, plus arpeggiator controls including octave jumps, ratchets, repeats and Spice & Dice. MiniFreak V software is also included, giving you full DAW integration, preset management and bidirectional hardware control when moving between hardware and software workflows.
