Powerful 3,600W Performance for Professional Events

The MAUI 44 G3 is engineered to deliver the power and clarity required for demanding live sound applications. Its high-efficiency Class-D amplifier produces 1,800W RMS and 3,600W peak power, achieving a maximum sound pressure level of 133dB.

Unlike conventional two-way systems, its fully active 4-way architecture uses dedicated driver groups and amplifier channels for different frequency ranges. With crossover points at 200Hz, 700Hz and 1,800Hz, the system provides controlled reproduction across the frequency spectrum, from deep bass through to detailed high frequencies.

Deep, Controlled Bass from a 15-Inch Neodymium Subwoofer

At the foundation of the MAUI 44 G3 is a powerful 15-inch neodymium woofer, delivering tight, punchy bass with low-frequency extension down to 34Hz. This makes the system particularly well suited to DJs playing bass-heavy music, live bands requiring full-range reinforcement and events where strong low-frequency performance is essential.

Specially developed airflow-optimised bass reflex ports minimise turbulence and unwanted port noise, helping the subwoofer maintain clean, defined bass even when operating at high output levels.

18 Drivers for Exceptional Clarity and Coverage

The two-piece column features an advanced driver configuration consisting of 14 × 3.5-inch neodymium midrange drivers and four 1-inch compression drivers. This arrangement delivers detailed midrange reproduction, clear vocals and crisp high frequencies across the listening area.

In the upper column, newly developed phase plugs and BEM-optimised waveguides provide consistent, controlled dispersion. The lower column uses horn-loaded midrange drivers to increase efficiency and headroom, delivering powerful vocal reproduction even in demanding environments.

With a dispersion pattern of 120° horizontally and 25° vertically, the MAUI 44 G3 provides wide audience coverage while helping to minimise unwanted sound outside the intended listening area.

Passive Cardioid Column Design Reduces Stage Noise

One of the MAUI 44 G3's standout features is its passive cardioid column design, which directs more sound towards the audience while reducing unwanted sound behind the system.

Rearward sound radiation is attenuated by up to 18dB, helping to create a cleaner stage environment and reducing unwanted sound reaching performers and microphones. This is particularly beneficial for live bands, vocal performances and installations where controlling sound dispersion is important.

Expandable Bass with Cardioid Subwoofer Configuration

For applications requiring additional low-frequency output, the MAUI 44 G3 can be expanded using a second MAUI 44 G3 SUB.

Positioning the additional subwoofer facing backwards and selecting the Cardioid preset extends the directional sound control into the bass frequencies. This increases low-frequency energy towards the audience while reducing bass output behind the system, helping to minimise unwanted stage rumble.

Alternatively, positioning the second subwoofer facing forwards provides an additional 6dB of low-frequency sound pressure, making it an excellent option for DJs and event providers who need maximum bass impact.

DynX Gen. 2 DSP for Clean, Reliable Sound

The MAUI 44 G3 features LD Systems' advanced DynX Gen. 2 digital signal processing, designed to maintain clarity and consistent performance across a wide range of listening levels.

Integrated peak, RMS and thermal limiters protect the system while helping to prevent unwanted distortion during demanding performances. Whether operating at moderate volume or pushing towards its maximum output, the DSP continuously manages the system to deliver controlled, reliable sound.

Bluetooth 5.4 and Flexible Professional Connectivity

The MAUI 44 G3 offers a practical selection of connections for integrating into professional audio setups. Two XLR/TRS combo inputs accommodate compatible audio sources, while two Thru outputs make it easy to connect additional equipment or expand your sound system.

A dedicated subwoofer output provides further flexibility when adding low-frequency reinforcement.

Built-in Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity supports SBC and AAC codecs, allowing convenient wireless music playback from compatible devices. This is particularly useful for background music, event playlists and situations where a wired audio source isn't required.

Professional Construction Built for Regular Use

Designed to withstand the demands of professional event work, the MAUI 44 G3 combines a durable birch plywood subwoofer enclosure with rugged aluminium column sections.

The subwoofer features a protective polyurea coating for improved resistance to everyday wear, while four ergonomic carrying handles make positioning and transportation more manageable. Recessed handles in the columns provide additional convenience when assembling, dismantling and transporting the system.

Fast Setup Without Compromising Performance

The MAUI 44 G3 brings together the output of a powerful professional PA system with the practical advantages of a column speaker design. Its two-piece column arrangement helps simplify setup while reducing the need for separate speaker stands and complicated equipment arrangements.

For mobile DJs, event companies and performers who regularly move between venues, this means less time setting up equipment and more time focusing on the performance.
