Novation FLpad FL Studio Grid Controller

The Novation FLpad is a 64-pad grid controller co-developed with Image-Line specifically for FL Studio. Designed for fast, hands-on beatmaking and music production, it gives you direct control over the Channel Rack, sequencing, Patterns, drums, melodic instruments and mixing, with velocity-sensitive RGB pads that make it equally suited to programming and live performance.

Why choose the Novation FLpad?

• 64 velocity-sensitive RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch
• Deep hands-on integration with FL Studio and the Channel Rack
• Sequence up to four instruments at the same time
• Dedicated modes for drums, melodies, Patterns and mixer control
• Includes six months of FL Studio Producer Edition plus additional software

Made for FL Studio

Developed alongside Image-Line, FLpad is designed around the way FL Studio works. Select and trigger samples directly from the Channel Rack, build sequences, play instruments, create Patterns and navigate your project without constantly reaching for your mouse and keyboard.

64 velocity-sensitive RGB pads

The 8 × 8 grid of 64 RGB-backlit pads provides a clear visual connection with your FL Studio project. Unlike the FLpad Mini, the pads are velocity sensitive and support polyphonic aftertouch, giving you greater expressive control when finger drumming or performing melodic parts.

Step sequence up to four instruments

FLpad makes it quick to turn ideas into complete Patterns. The colour-coded grid can be used to create and edit melodies, basslines, chord sequences and drum patterns for up to four instruments at once. Direct access to FL Studio's Graph Editor also lets you edit parameters including velocity, pitch and note repeats from the controller.

Play drums, basslines and melodies

Use the velocity-sensitive pads for live finger drumming or melodic performance. Dedicated layouts are provided for FPC, Slicex and Fruity Slicer, while Note mode lets you play melodic instruments chromatically or lock the grid to your chosen scale.

Create and control Patterns

A dedicated Pattern view lets you create, select, clear and duplicate Patterns directly from FLpad, making it easier to develop and arrange ideas without interrupting your workflow.

Channel Rack mixer and project control

FLpad's grid can be transformed into a row of faders using Channel Rack Mixer mode. Dedicated controls also provide quick access to playback, recording, undo and redo, quantise, Score Log and other commonly used functions, while navigation controls help you move around the sequencer and Channel Rack.

Create custom layouts

With Novation Components, you can create your own custom control layouts for FL Studio or use FLpad with other compatible software and hardware, giving you additional flexibility beyond its dedicated FL Studio controls.

FL Studio Producer Edition included

FLpad includes a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition, giving you the software needed to record, edit, mix and produce complete tracks. You also receive additional instruments and effects from GForce, Klevgrand and UVI, along with Melodics lessons for developing your pad performance skills.

USB-C and bus powered

FLpad connects via USB-C and is completely USB bus powered, keeping setup simple without requiring a separate power supply. It is class compliant and compatible with supported Mac, Windows and iOS systems.
