• Deep integration with FL Studio and the Channel Rack

• Dedicated modes for drums, melodies, Patterns and mixer control

Made for FL Studio

FLpad Mini has been co-developed by Novation and Image-Line to provide direct hands-on control over FL Studio. You can select and trigger samples from the Channel Rack, sequence musical ideas, play parts live and build Patterns without constantly returning to your mouse and keyboard.

64-pad RGB grid

The 8 × 8 grid of 64 RGB-backlit pads provides a clear visual connection with your FL Studio project. Use the grid to trigger samples, program sequences and control different elements of your production, with colour coding helping you keep track of instruments and functions while you work.

Step sequence up to four instruments

FLpad Mini makes it easy to build complete musical ideas directly from the controller. Its Sequencer view lets you work with up to four Channel Rack instruments at once, creating melodies, basslines, chord sequences and drum patterns while keeping your workflow focused on the hardware.

Play drums, basslines and melodies

For live playing, the grid can be used to perform drums and melodic parts. Dedicated layouts are available for FPC, Slicex and Fruity Slicer, while Note mode lets you play melodic instruments chromatically or lock the pads to a chosen scale.

Create and edit Patterns

A dedicated Pattern view makes it easy to create, select, clear and duplicate Patterns directly from FLpad Mini. You can also access FL Studio's Graph Editor from the grid to adjust parameters including velocity, pitch and note repeats without interrupting your workflow.

Channel Rack mixer and transport control

The grid can be transformed into a row of faders using Channel Rack Mixer mode, providing hands-on level control. Dedicated buttons also give you quick access to functions including play, stop, record, Score Log, undo, redo, clear and tempo, as well as navigation around your sequencer and Channel Rack.

Create your own custom layouts

Integration with Novation Components allows you to create custom control layouts for FL Studio or other compatible software and hardware, giving FLpad Mini additional flexibility beyond its dedicated FL Studio workflow.

FL Studio Producer Edition included

FLpad Mini includes a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition, providing a complete environment for recording, editing, mixing and producing music. A selection of additional instruments and effects is also included, alongside Melodics lessons for developing your finger-drumming skills.

Compact and USB powered

Designed as a portable production controller, FLpad Mini is compact enough to fit easily into a mobile music-making setup. It connects via USB-C and is USB bus powered, so no separate power supply is required.
