Scratch Cutter and Hot Cue creativity
The Scratch Cutter feature automatically applies rhythmic cutting patterns while you move the control vinyl or jog wheel, helping beginners learn scratch timing without relying on advanced crossfader techniques. Crossfader Hot Cue mode lets you create scratch-style sounds using Hot Cues and fader movements alone.
Creative FX and performance pads
Large effect levers provide hands-on control over up to 57 Serato DJ Pro effects, including Expansion Pack FX. Four Performance Pads per deck support 13 pad modes including Hot Cue and Sampler for live remixing and performance creativity.
USB powered portability
The DJM-S5 is Pioneer DJ’s first USB bus-powered mixer, allowing you to power it directly from your computer for highly portable setups. Perfect for practice sessions, livestreams, portable turntables, and mobile performances.
