The TR-1000 is Roland’s first true analogue drum machine in over 40 years, featuring recreated analogue circuits inspired by classic TR-808 and TR-909 designs. Each track features advanced processing tools including compression, multimode filtering, four-band EQ, envelopes, LFO modulation, and per-track effects routing. Analogue and digital effects include analogue drive, state variable filtering, delay, reverb, flanger, saturation, isolator, crusher effects, and more.

The advanced sequencer expands on the legendary TR workflow with TR-REC programming, real-time recording, off-grid sequencing, motion recording, probability sequencing, direction modes, cycle conditions, and extensive timing control for evolving and expressive rhythm creation.

Dedicated performance controls, responsive faders, high-grip knobs, snapshot recall, and the new Morph slider provide immediate hands-on manipulation for transitions, macro control, and live remixing.

Extensive studio and live connectivity

The TR-1000 includes stereo outputs, assignable individual outputs, trigger I/O, CV integration, USB-C audio and MIDI, DIN sync, MIDI connectivity, sampling inputs, and dedicated headphone monitoring, making it suitable for modern DAW setups, live performance rigs, and modular systems.
